Ariel
Photographer
Ariel is a second-year War Studies and History student with a strong interest in the ways historical retelling shapes conflict mediation. Italian and French by background, she is broadening her outlook by learning Russian and Turkish, two languages from very different regions and cultures.
As one of the Society’s photographers, Ariel brings extensive experience in event and field photography, ensuring the Society’s activities are well documented.

Outside of her studies, Ariel is deeply passionate about military aviation. She spends her free time researching, visiting museums, and photographing jets and pilots at airshows across Europe. Alongside this, she also works as a freelance journalist, specialising in the retelling of military history.
She looks forward to meeting new members and capturing the highlights of the Society’s year through her lens!
